Ah .... the anti-discrimination laws are retarded. We all discriminate every day. But today, some in Washington want us curious moral, if we pursue such discrimination, and when not. The next thing you know, they say they can not discriminate, stale bread, and I will have constraints of the government, forcing me to buy instead of bread.

Whatever .... To send us an e-mail to the office of a lawyer in your state that specializes in complaints of discrimination. I hope you get back an e-mail, and will cost nothing. Send it to five lawyers, and almost certainly a response back.

My own limited study of the law, I (as a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to work, and I've said more than 45 credits in law school in his pocket) that it should go. "Meat eaters" are not a protected class of people, and what are their feelings / comfort / etc Never mind, both the right and the feeling / comfort / etc of the black population, gOh, disabled, or Buddhists. But e-mails anyway just to be sure.

This is discrimination. Just because you're a vegetarian, and I respect that does not mean you can force their beliefs on others!

And you ask yourself whether you are a vegetarian in an interview to break some code of ethics, I'm sure!

I am a vegetarian. And as they say in the Bible ....
The commandment "Thou shalt not kill" (Exodus 20:13, Deuteronomy 5:17)

It says in a broad sense. You may not anyithing kill. Period. Everything else serves only the interest.

Even when an action, you know, he was under God's law.

Never has a policy of "one flesh".
I think that is possible, however, may create a hostile work environment to do, and will be prosecuted so, how.

Oh, and the recruitment of only vegetarian ... I think it would be this little thing called discrimination, but you can try it and see if you follow me.

I think it would be an absolute prohibition on the food, but not just meat. Yes, it is discriminatory.

I'm in New Jersey and has been done in this situation. Enter only those who are in the same religion and the establishment of their religious rules, which in the field of nutrition. It was about illegal discrimination and had problems with the Department of Labor, New Jersey.

I think that is discrimination. He wants to say: "I'm not hiring fair" or "I just want to recruit people." It does not seem as dramatic as this, but the same thing.

You can not just vegetarians, which is a discrimination. However, you can prohibit meat, if you see any legitimate reason - not because it interferes with your beliefs.

If the meat is usually easy to treat and attract rodents, then you have a good basis for the ban.

However, you may face, which he in the amount of discrimination. You can also force to not put employees at the meat on the premises, but must answer to two questions.
1) A decline in business sentiment, as they impose their beliefs on others who do not try to
2) a possible measure. Read about Weyco, Lansing, MI, tell employees if they are to smoke, they are dismissed. Although I believe the Supreme Court is always looking over the legality of this.

Why do you raise your positions on these issues? This is America, I thought that people are entitled to different viewpoints and freedom. How does this work help or hinder your business? Why should your business for vegans and vegetarians, is not it? No fish, no butter, etc. How do I apply for the bag lunch visit. I feel your cruel to the poles, is prohibited on him?

You should have plenty of free time, is that the success of your business? I would say that their attention will focus on the operation and hire the best, not what you choose to eat.
BTW, I can not eat mammals, but do not eat fish and chicken. What may work?

Answers so bad!

The word "discrimination" that sounds so wrong to automatically all forms of discrimination are protected page, but this is not true. There are many forms of discrimination is not covered, including food and lifestyle (if not the religion are related.)

May actually support their recruitment practices in food preferences, provided they do not discriminate against the rights of individuals such as discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or on the basis of "national origin, age or disability. You should make the company rule in order to hiring and firing are used.

For example, you can write a company policy that says that the company believes is no longer the consumption of meat from that date the company does not hire people who eat meat is acceptable. He should give up the time for current employees to eat meat - usually 6 months or 1 year - or will lose their jobs. You can extend the ban on people with eating meat, Tho. \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ U0026lt;br>
The companies have successfully done for tobacco and smoking, but not (so far) has managed to have spouses of employees of the smokers.

While someone may be able to say that eating meat is part of their religion, that the application would be very difficult to prove in court.

Other companies hiring practices of vegetarianism are: PETA, Edward & Sons, and the Bay Area Alliance vegetarian.

Consult a lawyer before making your final decision.

Your journey will be safer to ban all food and drink in the work area and the closure of the cafeteria or break room. You need some kind of safety or health because of this movement, however.
